My Opinion of Fiber One(R) Protein Cereal

For those of you that read my blog you know I'm a BzzAgent. What this means is I get to try different products for free and then post on various sites my opinion of the product.

The product this time was Fiber One Protein Cereal and they gave me coupons for 2 different flavors: Cranberry Almond and Maple Brown Sugar. I also had coupons to pass out for $1.00 off.

After trying both cereals the Cranberry Almond won hands down! It wasn't too sweet, didn't lose it's crunchiness and had plenty of cranberries and almonds in it. This is one of my new favorite cereals that I will be using to trade off each month so I don't get bored  :-)

Now usually I like a little sweetness to my cereal, but the Maple Brown Sugar was way too sweet for me. I told my husband he could have it but it appears it's too sweet for him also. We did not finish this box of cereal. 

I have an amazing job and in my office I have a coffee pot - can't start my day without coffee ! And then downstairs we have a big kitchen and a portion of the refrigerator I can put my stuff in - which for me is now Skim Milk because I have cabinet I keep my cereal box, bowl and spoon in. Fiber One Protein Cranberry Almond cereal will now be one of those boxes in my cabinet.

I have also been know to eat this for dinner :-)  It is yummy!!

Kroger Skillet Meals and Fresh Selection Salad Kit Yummy

I love being a BzzAgent and this is one of the reasons why !!!

I received coupons to try Kroger's Garlic Bread, Fresh Selection Salad Kit, and a Skillet Meal.

So no I had to decide what Salad and what Skillet Meal I wanted, they have a good selection.

This is what I ended up with.

After picking these items up I came down with the flu and for about 5 days I'd get home from work and head straight to bed.

On the 6th day I was getting hungry and feeling better---just now well enough to spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

Then I remembered these items and with the help of my husband we put together a GREAT meal in about 10 minutes. It was fast, easy and with my husband it was fun!

It was delicious and I know it will be helpful to have a couple Skillet Meals in my freezer at all times.

The Salad Kits will be great for lunch at my job.

and the Garlic Bread.....well we ate on that for a couple days so I need to find a way to fix 1/4 of a loaf and refreeze the rest.

When you shop this week make sure you try these items, you won't be disappointed!

Private Selection Upside Down Cake Bzz Agent

As a BzzAgent we were able to try this cake for FREE!

This Upside Down Cake is so easy to make and great to have on hand for unexpected company.

I must admit I was a skeptic and didn't expect this cake to taste good. I mean how can you have a cake with such an amazing icing - caramel, coconut and pecan frosting!! I figured it would melt but it did not.

This is how it looks out of the box, you take the plastic cover off and either bake it or put it in the microwave. I chose to bake it.

I baked it for about 13 minutes. 

Then waited 2 minutes before turning the pan upside down. We ran a knife around the sides before turning the cake pan over and it came out in once piece, no problems.

this cake came out so moist and the icing was perfect.

Kroger Spring Dinners Review

This was an amazing meal

As a BzzAgent we had the chance to try

Crescent Dinner Rolls

and a cake for dessert

The tenderloin was easy to fix. I rubbed spices on the pork and baked it for about an hour. The aroma was wonderful and it came out moist and tasty.

I did not like the mac n cheese, the consistency just wasn't what I like and there really wasn't enough for 3 let alone a family of 4.

I am now addicted to the Crescent rolls, as is my husband. This is one product I will probably buy twice a month.

The cake was good. The only problem was I had to microwave the icing so it would spread smoothly.

The fellowship we had during this dinner made it a perfect meal.

Review on Johnsonville Chicken Sausage

I love food, I love to cook and I love to eat. So as a BzzAgent I had the opportunity to try Johnsonville Chicken Sausage.

Since I am not a sausage fan my husband requested we try it with eggs.

So this is what we had for breakfast. I was really surprised that it had very little grease, usually I find sausage to have a high grease factor, in cooking and taste.

However, this Johnsonville Chicken Sausage was very low in grease during the cooking and did not have that greasy feeling or taste.

This is a sausage I will now add to our rice meals as well as occasionally for breakfast.

The only thing I did not like about this product is the high sodium content.

BzzAgent Trying MorningStar Veggie Burger

I am a BzzAgent

One of the perks of being a BzzAgent is I get to try different products and give my opinion.

This is the latest product I tried and I must say I wasn't too thrilled to take the first bite because I'm a 'meat' person.

When I took the package out I did not like the looks of this patty. Then I opened the plastic wrap and this wonderful aroma filled my nostrils.  :-) 

I love beans and it was the aroma of spicy beans.

I used the microwave and cooked it for 2 minutes 10 seconds.

Then I proceeded to take a bite

I was afraid to use my video because I was ready to spit it out.

SURPRISE

I loved it.

It wasn't greasy like a hamburger, it had a flavor I enjoy and the texture fooled my mouth.

For me they are a little pricey but if you shop the sales and have a coupon they are well worth it.

MorningStar Farms BzzAgent Review

I would never have tried this product without the opportunity through being a BzzAgent.

I have always known that this 'fake' stuff, as I called it, would be awful in texture and taste!

I was WRONG.

This is the product we tried.

These Chik Patties were amazing.
My husband and I made sandwiches using spinach leaves, onions and other healthy items.

I waited for my husband to take the first bite and expected to see  -











but instead I saw -

So I took my first bite and slowly started chewing and to my surprise it tasted great. It was not an overpowering taste but it wasn't bland either.

And the texture was good.

I'm looking forward to trying more products by MorningStar Farms.

The opportunity to try this product came at a good time as my husband and I are making the effort to eat better and watch our servings.

The patty was actually a good size for a smaller slice of bed or a whole grain English muffin.

Redbox Trial

As a BzzAgent I was able to try a 30 free trial with Redbox.

Since my husband and I love movies, especially those that are not that well known, we were excited to see what was out there.

Redbox has both games and movies you can get from their stand alone box. However, this really was not convenient for us. One night we had to stand outside in the cold and snow to return on of our movies and you can only rent them for one day. That kind of sealed it for me on using this.

As far as the list of movies online - they were great! We watched a few we had not seen or our current subscription channel. The downfall with this being online is you are at the mercy of your computer screen and the speakers on your computer/laptop. My speakers stink to put it mildly, so once again, not impressed.

We appreciated the chance to try this product so we knew what was out there, check the competition - but we are staying with our current movie provider.

We have a Roku box (ROKU) and watch Netflix. Redbox did not wow us enough to change.
However, if they ever stream through the Roku box we might reconsider.

COVERGIRL Blastflipstick Review

This is an amazing product that I was able to try for FREE as a BzzAgent.

I have not worn lipstick for years nor do I feel like I have the lips for it. So I was excited to have the opportunity to try the Blastflipstick from Covergirl.

I have always favored Covergirl products.

They were very generous and sent three different samples: Minx #855; stunner #840 and vixen #820

Stunner - one side was too red for me but I loved the, what I would call copper, opposite side. So this one I would use for when I work in the office.

Minx - both sides too dark for me mainly because I don't have lips to make it look good.

Vixen - I like both sides and this is the one I carry with me.

Private Selection Products BzzAgent Report

I'm hooked !!

As a BzzAgent I was able to try a few products 'Private Selection' and it's not a product I would have normally purchased.......until I tried it and now I'm hooked.

The Blue cheese stuffed olives were a big hit - even with a person that does not like olives. He could not quit eating them.

I enjoyed the Classic Water Crisps and the Costa Rican Tarrazu Coffee!!!

I plan on buying their cheese, crackers and olives for our New Years celebration!

I suggest you give this brand a try, you will be pleasantly surprised.

It has also spurred me on to try other Private Selection items!

Alexia Food

As a BzzAgent I get to try products and give my opinion.

I love to try food products !!

These are 3 of the Alexia products I had the pleasure of eating!!  I did share them with my husband even though I could have eaten the Sweet Potatoes all by myself

The bread was the hardest to find. I finally found it at Meijer

All products were good but my favorite was the baked Seasoned Sweet Potato Fries. 

The bread was good and it came in a size that was good for my husband and I - you get 2 loaves and that was used for 2 different dinners for us.

I would suggest having these items handy for those unexpected dinner guests as they are quick, easy and delicious.

Glade Expressions Collection Review

What Does This Mean?

It means I get to sample products and give my personal opinion.

This is the first of a 2 part BzzAgent sample:

This is the Glad Expressions Starter Kit and the scent was Cotton Italian Mandarin.

For those that use aerosols it has an decorative cover so it's not the can sitting on your shelf or table. I like that idea. However, I do not like aerosols. The scent isn't bad but it doesn't last. So I would have to say no to this product.

HOWEVER I LOVE THIS NEXT SAMPLE FROM GLADE EXPRESSIONS

Glade Expression Oil Diffuser Starter Kit

I didn't think I would like the 'pineapple and mangosteen' aroma, but it is very refreshing to come home to. I walk in the front door and have this fresh invigorating aroma.

Very easy to assemble

and it looks good on our mantel.

We have 5 rescued cats and 1 Black Lab/Weimaraner puppy and our home smells wonderful.

I will be using a coupon they sent and buying 1 or 2 more so I can have one upstairs and one in the basement. 

You really should give this a try - hope to find some Christmas scents for the oil diffuser!
